Abstract

This study concerns the use of flooding in reducing agoraphobia in a 34 year old man who cannot stay in a moving car to his shop. Following 36 sessions of graded exposure initially accompanied by therapist or wife of client, client was able to stay alone and arrive at his shop without agoraphobic reactions. The study shows that flooding can be successfully used in reducing agoraphobia.
